A medium to large fast growing tree forming a broad crown at maturity. Characterised by its gleaming yellow young shoots it is stunning in the winter, especially when lit by the sun. The foliage turns from green to a spectacular yellow by mid November and it thrives on most soils as well as being particularly tolerant of wind. It is a tough tree with a dramatic interest.
