Ash (Fraxinus)

The end of a branch from an Ash tree show the vibrant greens and deep purple of the new shoots and small flowers

£139.00 - £539.00*

Ash is fast growing and tolerant of most soils and most locations. Its green leaves emerge in late spring which turn a lovely yellow in Autumn. Describing leaf emergence time in the spring to forecast the following summer an old saying goes, 'Ash before Oak in for a soak, Oak before Ash in for a splash'. Either way you will get wet! A very versatile tree for areas where it is hard to get trees to thrive.

Species available: Fraxinus excelsior, Fraxinus excelsior Altena, Fraxinus excelsior Westhoff's Glory.

If you would like to choose the species you will receive, please specify in the special delivery instructions during checkout, if not we will pick a stunning specimen for you.
