Very enduring, Oaks can live to a great age and its timber has been used to produce the finest furniture, ships and even coffins! A large, imposing, broadly rounded tree has an architectural majesty that is very distinctive and pleasing to the eye. Its deeply grained bark gives year round appeal, and its expansive root system does best on deep heavy soils. A great tree for wildlife.
Species available: Quercus robur, also Quercus cerris, Quercus palustris, Quercus petraea.

Our Sizes
The sizes of trees supplied is governed by the pot size they are grown in. The approximate sizes of the specimens will be determined by the species.

A Large tree will be supplied in a 85L or 100L container and will be approximately 4 to 5 metres tall. |
