Swedish Whitebeam (Sorbus)

Leaves emerge silvery white in the spring, hardening to dark green in summer. Clusters of white flowers are followed by profuse bunches of small red fruits by September which birds enjoy before the onset of winter. A tough tree , suitable on most soils, it retains a compact habit so is fine to be planted in smaller gardens. Not to be confused with ordinary Whitebeam that is less tolerant of coastal sites.
Species available: Sorbus intermedia, Sorbus intermedia Brouwers.

The sizes of trees supplied is governed by the pot size they are grown in. The approximate sizes of the specimens will be determined by the species.
