Apple (Malus)
£199.00*
White flower, pink in bud, in spring is followed by green leaves and swelling fruit in summer. Left to its own devices, it will form a rounded crown at maturity but pruning may be undertaken to restrict the height so you can pick the resulting apples. Sometimes apple trees can suffer a condition called bi-annual bearing in which it fruits heavily one year and not the next. Thin out the newly forming fruits to ensure an even flow year on year.
