Black Walnut develops a very rough bark from a very early age so can be easily differentiated form Common Walnut that retains a very smooth bark. An abundance of nuts are produced over a long period that can be harvested for winter consumption. A stately tree that is fast growing, it needs plenty of space to grow so is really only suitable for large gardens, parks and estates. The leaves turn a lovely yellow in autumn before falling.

The sizes of trees supplied is governed by the pot size they are grown in. The approximate sizes of the specimens will be determined by the species.
