A versatile and beautiful fast growing tree which is particularly attractive in early summer when laden with creamy white flowers. Introduced by the Romans, the long, glossy leaves turn gold and bronze before falling in the autumn. Characterised by a deeply fissured bark at maturity the timber is highly prized around the Mediterranean for furniture making. It thrives on most soils and makes a stately avenue tree.

The sizes of trees supplied is governed by the pot size they are grown in. The approximate sizes of the specimens will be determined by the species.
