Turkish Hazel (Corylus)
£146.00 - £642.00*
A beautifully defined symmetrical tree, it is notable for its roughly textured, corky bark and long yellow catkins in early spring. Clusters of fringed nuts are produced by autumn that are well worth harvesting. It thrives on most soils and is a robust choice for hard areas such as paving, but is best placed for avenue planting to achieve a formal and stately landscape.
Species available: Corylus colurna.
