Serviceberry (Amelanchier)

A simply stunning sight when in full bloom with its white flowers produced in plentiful racemes. It is a small bushy tree with leaves emerging copper green in spring which turn vivid red in autumn. It does best on well drained but moist soils and in our opinion is one of the prettiest trees grown in the UK. Great for gardens of any size, it is a reliable and showy performer.

Species available: Amelanchier arborea Robin Hill, Amelanchier Ballerina, Amelanchier lamarckii. Multistems also available.

Our Sizes

The sizes of trees supplied is governed by the pot size they are grown in. The approximate sizes of the specimens will be determined by the species.

Medium Large Instant
A medium tree

A Medium tree will be supplied in a 45L or 65L container will be approximately 3 to 4 metres tall.

 A large tree

A Large tree will be supplied in a 85L or 100L container and will be approximately 4 to 5 metres tall.

 An instant tree

An Instant tree will be supplied in a 150L or larger container and will be approximately 5 to 7 metres tall.
