This evergreen is one of the narrowest of conifers and, when planted in a group, the effect is truly dramatic. It has dark green leaves crowded into fan-like sprays and oval, hanging cones. It thrives on most soils but like other conifers does not tolerate waterlogged ground. At a very young age you may make the mistake of categorizing as a hedging conifer but it hardly spreads and cannot be bettered for shape at maturity.

The sizes of trees supplied is governed by the pot size they are grown in. The approximate sizes of the specimens will be determined by the species.
