Drummonds Maple (Acer)

This is widely known in North America as the Harlequin Maple with its rounded crown stunning in the spring with contrasting large variegated leaves. During hot bright summers the leaves can brown on the margins but this is nothing to worry about as the real glory is during the first half of the season. It tolerates most soils but best placed in dappled shade that makes the foliage stand out all the more and offers protection to the delicate leaves later on in the summer. Any leaves that return to just green should be pruned out.

The sizes of trees supplied is governed by the pot size they are grown in. The approximate sizes of the specimens will be determined by the species.
